Free Workshop for horse owners

The San Luis Rey Watershed Council is sponsoring a horse management workshop on Oct. 25, from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Sun Ranch in Bonsall. This free workshop is a great opportunity for horse owners, equestrian riders, and horse facility managers to gather information about how to protect the water quality in horse areas and to comply with government regulations. Experts from both non-regulatory and regulatory agencies will be discussing horse related issues including manure management, storm water runoff management, pest control, and erosion control.
