Grapefruit grows beautifully in Fallbrook

FALLBROOK – The Cline Family of Fallbrook has some mighty fine grapefruit! One grapefruit they picked off their tree last week measured 20 inches in circumference.

Eddy Cline’s green thumb extends also to their other fruits trees including orange, pear, mandarin, tangerine, guava, lime, apple, peach, plum, and avocado. In addition, he has an abundant vegetable and herb garden.

Given the bounty, one would think the Cline’s must have a farm or ranch. “We live on a postage stamp lot in Fallbrook,” said Susan Cline.
