Rainbow 'Farmer's Market' blossoming

RAINBOW — Under the shade of the wide sycamores in Rainbow Park a ‘Farmer’s Market’ has blossomed. It began several months ago with a few vendors and has now grown to between 15 and 20 vendors. Vegetables, fruit, collectibles, birdhouses, unique clothing and various types of artwork are showcased on the cool grass while residents and tourist stroll under the tall sycamores. It’s a perfect setting for a summer’s market and the market organizers know it. There is plenty of parking and also picnic benches if you just want to sit and relax.

According to a Finder’s Keepers store spokesperson, Mary Kay Sovacal, the market will be offered each Sunday for the next five weeks to open about 8:00 a.m. and close at approximately 3:00 p.m. “It’s the perfect venue for a farmer’s market,” she said.
