'So You Want to Own a Horse' class

BONSALL- Rawhide Ranch in Bonsall will offer a 3-week class for adults (18+) designed to help prospective horse buyers learn the ins and outs of horse ownership.

The three-week Horse Science class is a lecture-only format covering the nature of horses, equipment selection, grooming, as well as the costs and services that are part of owning a horse. In addition to the Horse Science class, participants may also choose to register for a practical Horsemanship class that will meet immediately following the lecture. The practical class will cover catching/haltering, grooming, basic riding skills, proper equipment adjustments, etc.
