According to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) a 3.7 magnitude quake was felt at at about 7:38 pm in the Southwest Riverside/ Northern San Diego region.
Preliminary reports from the USGS pinpoint the epicenter to the San Jacinto area. The quake was centered 3 miles north of Hemet, 4 miles NNW of East Hemet, and 4 miles NW of Valle Vista.
The depth was 13 km below the surface.
Deputy Albert Martinez of the Riverside Sheriff's Department says no damage or injuries have been reported as a result of the magnitude-3.7 earthquake that struck at San Jacinto at 7:38 p.m.
