According to the USGS website, there were nearly 3,000 people in over 500 zip codes from Santa Barbara all the way south to Mexico who reported feeling at least one of the earthquakes that struck within a few minutes of each other just after 1 am this morning. There were also people who reported feeling the quake in Lake Havasu, Arizona.
Most people all the way to the coast reported feeling a moderate shake.

According to the United States Geological Society (USGS), there was a 5.1 magnitude quake felt by at least 310 people who reported it, and then a 5.2 magnitude quake felt throughout the southland at about 1:05 a.m. The second quake was 5.2 and it was centered about:
