Accident leads to power outage for residents along Stage Coach Lane

Numerous residents that live along Stage Coach Lane were left without electric power late yesterday following a vehicle accident.

According to residents of the area, a vehicle accident that occurred at shortly after 1 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 31, resulted in damage to a power pole that took hours for crews to repair.

Residents were advised that power was being shut down for the work at about 6:30 p.m. and full restoration of power did not occur until about 2 a.m. today, Mon., Sept. 1.

Although no information has been available from the California Highway Patrol in regards to this vehicle accident, some residents were told by workers that an intoxicated driver had hit the pole.
