Angels assist worthy local programs

FALLBROOK — The April directors meeting of the Angel Society of Fallbrook was held at the home of Marylyn Miller with much discussion about the upcoming Society’s luncheon, to be held May 19 at the Grand Tradition, located in Fallbrook. Doors open at 11 a.m. and luncheon begins at noon. One of the opportunity items will be a cruise provided by Mutual of Omaha through member Marjorie Kettering. If you’re wondering about the photo on the back of the invitation, you have to be at the luncheon to find out.

The Philanthropy Committee, consisting of Marylyn Miller, Lila Sandschulte and Ailsa Benjamin, recommended monetary assistance to the following organizations: Fallbrook Student of the Month, Fallbrook Child Development Center, Fallbrook Family Support League, Boys and Girls Club of N. County, Fallbrook AVID Program, Armed Services YMCA of Camp Pendleton and Fallbrook Fire Safe Council.
