I’m fine with the word Spring Bunny. The only people who aren’t are those people who want to exclude non-Christians.

@Mitchel- Easter is the Christian Holiday for Christ rising – we do not exclude anyone, non-Christians self-exclude. Christmas also a Christian Holiday. Notice that the President clebrated Ramadan – not "end of fasting after the full moon" time.

I’m sorry, are non Christians not allowed to use the word Easter? I’m fine with the silliness of spring bunny, but don’t insult everyone’s intelligence by saying only Christians call him/her the Easter bunny. My kids hunted Easter eggs on Saturday after a delicious breakfast of pancakes (thank you firemen) and then they attended church on Sunday morning before going to family for a delicious Easter dinner. Happy spring. I guess.

@grunt: Hear, hear!!! @ WTF…exactly, since I can remember it has been the Easter Bunny (although being Christian myself I see that is a commercialization of the holy-day in order to get dinero out of those who are not Christian, who thus might not otherwise celebrate such) but suddenly it’s the spring bunny. Funny, with all these attempts to take away the Christian reasoning behind these holy-days (Easter, Christmas etc) in changing the names to much more a generic term, just brings God’s love more to the forefront to be talked about.

It is all part of the same political correctness movement that wants to take the word Christmas out of Christmas.
