Archaeology Day celebrates 10 years in the San Pasqual Valley

ESCONDIDO – The San Diego Archaeological Center celebrates 10 years in the San Pasqual Valley with an open house style event on Saturday, Oct. 13, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. which the public is invited to attend. Guided tours of the entire center including the vaults will be offered along with light refreshments.

Guests will find out about the center’s programs, research projects and future plans for the exterior and interior design. They can also view the newly remodeled Children at Play area which involves one’s sense of imagination at the “create, make and take” table.

Admission to this event is free with center museum admission, $2 per person or $5 per family. Center members can enjoy this event at no cost. Non-members can become a member on the day of the program and enjoy discounts on this and many events to come in 2013.

The center is located at 16666 San Pasqual Valley Road, Escondido, CA 92027. For more information, call (760) 291-0370
