Community Read offers events

FALLBROOK — Steinbeck is coming to Fallbrook! John Steinbeck is the featured author for the Friends of the Fallbrook Library’s second annual Community Read. Area residents are encouraged to read “East of Eden,” “Travels with Charley,” “Cannery Row” or anything other writings of this legendary American author and discuss with family and friends, in book clubs or other venues.

This year’s event begins with the opening of the traveling Steinbeck Photo Exhibit on March 1 and culminates with the Friends’ annual luncheon on April 29.
