Compliance check results in six arrests – one for attempted murder, four for drug-related offenses, one for felony vandalism

Lieutenant Todd Richardson, commander of the Fallbrook Sheriff’s substation, said this afternoon that six people are under arrest following an operation dubbed “Guacamole VII” in Fallbrook. The probation or compliance check was conducted from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. today.

He said that deputies from the Fallbrook Sheriff’s Substation’s “Crime Suppression Team” worked with deputies and detectives from other units as well as County Probation, State Parole and the District Attorney’s Office.

Richardson said, “During the operation about a half ounce of methamphetamine or ‘ICE,’ a couple grams of heroin, a pound of marijuana, and 30 to 40 tablets of hydrocodone were recovered.”

He also said that the five adults and a 16-year-old juvenile are documented members or associates of the Fallbrook street gang known as “Varrio Fallbrook Locos” or “VFL,” and it was reported that among those arrested is a suspect from the recent attempted execution style shooting in DeLuz Canyon.

It is the policy of the Sheriff’s Department not to identify juvenile arrestees.

The five adult arrestees are:

*Sergio Ramirez, 19 years old of Fallbrook (664/187 PC – Attempted murder).

*Karla Cortez, 34 years old of Fallbrook (11377(a) H&S – Possession of a controlled substance).

*Edgar Rodriguez, 23 years old of Fallbrook (11377 (a) H&S – Possession of a controlled substance).

*Mario Vega, 26 years old of Fallbrook (11359 HS- Possession of marijuana).

*Arturo Morelos, 46 years old of Fallbrook (11364 H&S- Possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia).

*16-year-old male juvenile of Fallbrook (594 PC – Felony vandalism)

This better be a case where they are all taken, locked up, prosecuted and put away forever. I am tired of these punks running a muck in our streets. Let’s get em all, as well as the little friends that want to be just like them.

Clean our house and take out the trash. If we did some other house cleaning a deep-clean, we would gather more trash than we ever knew existed in this town.

Hey, I have an idea- why doesn’t the Village News report all of the relatives of the Fallbrook Sheriff deputies who are druggies, losers, thieves when they get arrested by cops in other counties!! Seriously the Village News should look at all the sons and daughters of Sheriff’s deputies that are in the Fallbrook Arrest Records database monthly!!! Why don’t they clean up their own backyards before they have the cojones and the hypocrisy of arresting people here. How many Sheriffs kids do you think are slinging these prescription drugs to kids???? It’s alarming and shameful at what their relatives get away with in this town. If a “good cop” can’t see the fact that his son is a complete waste of life and arrest/hold accountable their own family tree, then why should they have authority to “clean up” our town!! Think about it.

Wow, amazing how you just can’t make everybody happy in this town. The way our system works it is the text book catch & release program it seems. But that lays at the feet of the DA and courts, not at those of the deputies and police officers out there. And what an amazing allegation by ‘everyoneisadocumented'; and he/she/it makes the statement / allegations in plural form no less.

Congrats Police Department and I am again shocked and appalled at the increase in gangs, the activity, drugs, murders, attempted, in Fallbrook just like I am in my town of Temecula. IF the police departments do not get a hold on this trash now, DAILY, we will be another downtown Riverside and we dont want that.
Police need to keep working daily on this (TEMECULA PD take notice here)and seriously with a group of officers that is all they do all day and night and go and round them UP, watch them, get integrated with them, get some informants, and go to town getting their drugged up, fugly butts put in jail for BUBBA to play with. Then the Cities need to work on getting any illegals OUT of town also on a everyday basis, and shut down all low income housing immediately because the people that own Fallbrook, and Temecula pay alot of property taxes and other taxes for our beautiful cities. And not for them to be filled with retards flushed down here from Riverside or even Los Angeles. We dont want the filthy houses, the millions dogs, cats, trash, junked up ole cars, the cheap beer smell filling the air.
Fallbrook was once a nice place and houses were expensive, just like Temecula, but if we dont get out all this "TRASH" and all these Mexican gangs, legal or illegals are just that "Trash", then we will stop paying taxes until it is done.
Keep it up daily officers of Fallbrook and hopefully Temecula will follow suit. We have more places that people wont go now then places they will go. Its bad and PD’s need to step up and do it fast.
As for these idiots having a breakdown cause their trashy homies got arrested, oh cry me a river and hopefully you are next. If you think Fallbrook is going to sit by and let you morons think you are home free, think again, cause they are coming for you especially now that they see just how many they can bring in in one night :))) So enjoy your freedom today, cause I will applaud you being in jail tomorrow.
WTG Fallbrook, keep cleaning it up!

I applaud your comment. I think it is valid and full of truths. If you get any negative feedback about your comment, it is because it is filled with truths and some people cannot handle the truth, no matter if it was set in stone. These little punks can become smart ….. now, but they will soon be hearing that song ring in their ears “Bad Boys.” Good luck!!!

I for one am glad to see the Sheriff’s Dept. take action. For awhile there it seemed like the Dept. was ignoring the situation at hand lately. I do understand it is no easy task to clean up a town the size of Fallbrook with such little manpower. Even if this is all show at least this is getting the streets clean.

I don’t believe it is called ignorance when it shows the nationality of the people involved. It is ignorance when someone makes a silly comment about something that they do not want to realize is the truth. I must agree that not all gang members are Mexican, but I also agree that the crimes that are being committed and talked about here are Mexican individuals. I am sorry if your feelers got hurt, but the truth is the truth, and there is no way around that. If you are so into defending Mexico, maybe you can go there and straighten out their government and make it to where people would like to live there again. Otherwise Arriva America, where it offers YOU freedom.

I do believe that the streets should get cleaned up, DRUGS are awful the mess with the person using and the ppl that surround them, But with that said this article is all wrong all the arrest didnt have anything to do with one another! How funny if u guys knew that 2 of the arrest where for vicodin!! one was for a bottle that was found and reported to a neighbor the nite before, and the other was for 8 vicodin that where being used for a pain from a cyst on the hand of the person who had them! These was explained and tried to prove to the officers but they wouldnt listen, they waisted tax $$$. All i am saying is sometimes they dont get it RIGHT!! and you should not believe everything they say they have a way ( the police dept) on making you look horrible when you are really just living your life healthy anc good and clean!
