CROP Walk slated for Mar. 13

The annual CROP Walk to raise money to feed the hungry both locally and internationally will be held in Fallbrook on March 13 beginning at 1:30 p.m. at Fallbrook Community Project, 1042 South Mission Road.

Last year, Fallbrook participants raised $69,000 toward the effort. Twenty-five percent of all money raised at the event goes to the Fallbrook Community Project (FCP), which provides 42,000 food issues during the year to local needy families.

All it takes to participate in the 5K walk is a willing desire and sponsors to support your effort. Get a sponsor sheet from your church, service club or FCP or by calling event coordinator Herman VandenBosch at (760) 728-3036.
