Cynthia Renee to speak to Gem and Mineral Society

Jewelry designer Cynthia Renee of Cynthia Renee Company of Fallbrook, will be the guest speaker for the Fallbrook Gem and Mineral Society’s January 13 meeting.

Preview a lively and informative lecture this colored gemstone dealer/designer/author is developing for the AGTA’s Tucson GemFaire. We are all attracted to the light and color emanating from a gemstone. To some, the body is the ultimate “museum case” for a gem in jewelry. You may understand gems and jewelry making, but combing your jewelry, clothing, and color palettes in a way that reflects your personality is a different art. Learn new ways of seeing from this creative innovator.

The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium at the Alvarado Street Museum, 123 W. Alvarado Street in Fallbrook.

There will be an opportunity drawing and a chance to shop for mineral specimens at the table run by Mike Evans. Sales from this table help support our museums, and it is a chance to add to your collection at bargain prices.

There will be an installation of officers for 2005 and a short business meeting.

Newcomers and guests are always welcome at our general meetings. For more information call the museum at (760) 728-1130.
