Democratic Club of Greater Fallbrook

The next meeting for the Democratic Club of Greater Fallbrook will be held Wednesday, March 30, at 7 p.m. in the FPUD board room, 990 East Mission Road, Fallbrook.

In addition to a discussion of the controversial development projects on the Highway 15 corridor, the agenda will include a visit from Martha Sullivan, communications chair of North County Democracy for America.

Martha will review the goals and activities of the local DFA chapter and then present a workshop on the ideas of George Lakoff, well-known professor of Cognitive Science and Linguistics at UC Berkeley. The executive board members will also be recruiting volunteers for various committee chairmanships. Local residents who would like to join other Democrats in planning for the future are urged to attend.
