I encourage all incoming freshmen to play football so they can be mentored by this ornry old koot. Reply football supporter November 9, 2012 at 11:31 am hopefully, the freshmen, that are going to other schools instead of Fallbrook stay home to play football, here at fallbrook where it belongs now. Reply Frosh Football Parent November 9, 2012 at 1:10 pm I couldn’t agree more with Warrior Fan’s comments. As a parent of this year’s freshman football team, I so appreciate all that Coach Madden does for these boys. Every kid should be so lucky as these boys and many, many before them, to have spent a year with this man. I am so glad that my son had that honor. I hope he is around for many years to come! Reply Resident November 9, 2012 at 1:38 pm Coach Madden is the biggest gift to the high school football program and all the kids at the high school. He set an example that helps them become the best people they can be. He demands excellence and will not tolerate any kind of disrespect for each other. He is an amazing man. Derby day is such a great way to have fun with egg tosses, relay races, and just plain old-fashioned fun! The high school football stadium should be called Madden Stadium…..he deserves that honor more than anyone. Reply Chris Fore November 10, 2012 at 10:49 am I was on Coach Madden’s first team at Fallbrook High, frosh football team, 1990. A true inspiration! He inspired me to coach, among other greats we had there including Tom Pack, Steve Jorde, Jay Craven. I wrote about one of the most important lessons I learned while playing Fallbrook Football, and have carried it in to my coaching career.
