Donoghue named Miss Fallbrook; Albanna named Miss Teen Fallbrook

The 2013 Miss Fallbrook and Miss Teen Fallbrook Pageant was held on April 20 at the Mission Theater with the theme of “A Little Bit Country.” Don Foulkes, 90, was the Master of Ceremonies for the evening which included Sylvia Solis, an elementary student from Frazier Elementary School singing the National Anthem. 

The winners: Miss Fallbrook Shavonne Donoghue, First Princess Daniela Ruiz, Second Princess Mary Alyce Boyd, Miss Teen Fallbrook Julia Albanna, Miss Teen First Princess Andrea Ordonez, and Miss Teen Second Princess Irene Martinez.

Albanna was chosen Miss Photogenic by Bill Ahrend of Ahrend’s Studios and Ordonez was voted Miss Congeniality by her fellow contestants.

The judges for the pageant were Suzanne Chadwick, Lila McDonald and Abby Tamondong Miss Oceanside 2012. Entertainment was provided in between competitions by Colette Hamilton, who sang a solo from Annie Get Your Gun in keeping with the theme, and CAST’s award winning ballet team which performed “Paint it Black” under the direction of Sarah Jones.
