Fashion and fun planned for BWC's charity fashion event

FALLBROOK — Ready for an afternoon of great fashion and fun? On Friday, May 20, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Bonsall Woman’s Club will be present their second annual Charity Luncheon and Fashion Show at the Pala Mesa Resort, Cliff Terrace Room.

Co-chairs of the event are Donna Shanahan and Geri Sides. This year’s theme, “Le Vie en Rose,” will feature fashions by American Designers Carolina Herrera and Monique Lhuillier. Additional styles will be provided by Caravan, Donna’s Unique Boutique, Jasmine Rose, Pala Mesa Golf Shop and Tangerine.

The club has already spent hundreds of hours to make this event not only in keeping with the club’s reputation but to feature professional models as well as local business men and women. The program will include exciting prizes, restaurant gift certificates and theme items such as a fresh rose finished with 24k gold from Ward’s Jewelers in Bonsall and a beautiful arrangement filled with silk roses from Chattel’s in Fallbrook. Fabulous prizes such as a seven-night cruise to the destination of choice, season passes to the Del Mar Racetrack, a wine country tour and more will be presented during the live auction.

All proceeds will benefit local charities. A good portion of these funds will be distributed to local schools for desperately needed books and materials.
