Feeding America San Diego announces Summer Food Service Program

SAN DIEGO – Feeding America San Diego (FASD) has announced the program dates and locations for the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). The FASD-sponsored program will provide free meals and snacks to children and teens during the summer months when school is out of session. One of the four sites is in Fallbrook.

From June 17 to Aug. 9, the Boys and Girls Club of North County, 445 E. Ivy St., Fallbrook, will serve a free lunch from noon to 1 p.m. and snacks 2:30 to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The SFSP Program is administered by the California Department of Education and funded by the United States Department of Agriculture
