Interstate 15 interchange at State Route 76 to be closed tonight, Mon., Feb. 4, 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. tomorrow morning

Caltrans has advised that a full freeway closure - all northbound and southbound lanes - will take place on Interstate 15 at State Route 76 from Monday, February 4 at 11 p.m. to Tuesday, February 5 at 5 a.m.

Those traveling on Interstate 15, both southbound and northbound, will be detoured to exit at an off-ramp and re-enter at an on-ramp.

Travelers from Interstate 15 and State Route 76 will both be able to access the on- and off-ramps.

"During these hours, crews will be pouring concrete on the south side of the bridge as part of the widening and upgrading of the Interstate 15/State Route 76 interchange," said authorities.

Caltrans advises travelers that they may experience delays and noise within this work area.

"The State Route 76 East Segment is the final segment in a series of three improvement projects on the State Route 76 corridor, located between Interstate 15 and Interstate 5," noted authorities. The East Segment's 5.2 miles stretch from South Mission Road to Interstate 15 serves local and regional traffic."

This schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions.
