Motorcyclist seriously injured in crash at state R 76 and I-15 on-ramp

FALLBROOK - A motorcyclist was seriously injured today in a crash with another vehicle on state Route 76 at the Interstate 15 on-ramp, a CHP dispatcher said.

The incident was reported at 11:07 a.m., the dispatcher said.

''The motorcyclist was conscious but sustained serious shoulder and leg injuries and was transported to Palomar Medical Center for treatment,'' the dispatcher said.

Westbound 76 was shut down briefly at the Interstate 15 on-ramp in the aftermath of the accident.
