FALLBROOK – National Charity League, San Luis Rey Chapter celebrated its Ruby Jubilee (40th anniversary) on Aug. 4 at Pala Mesa Resort.
Organizer Kris Turner and her team provided a memorable experience for both past and present members of the mother-daughter organization. Table decorations featuring “rubies” made a festive atmosphere as attendees watched a slide show compiled by Cory Carrier. Members provided photos from the past and present that Carrier fashioned into a beautiful overview.
Trisha Daniel, daughter of Ann Daniel, the chapter’s founding president, traveled from Texas to take part in the celebration. Daniel gave a very emotional speech which impacted all.
