New group meets Jan. 17

The newly named “Fallbrook Coalition of Democrats and Independents,” continuing the format begun by “The Association of Democratic and Independent Women,” will continue to present progressive programs to Fallbrook’s like-minded community.

To begin the new year, a great program is planned for the January 17 meeting at the Public Utilities Building, 990 E. Mission, at 2 p.m.

Our guest speaker will be Logan Jenkins, popular journalist for the San Diego Union Tribune. His topic: “Life and Politics in San Diego from a Liberal Point of View,” which will cover early San Diego to the present.
