Olivia Newton-John to participate in local Susan G. Komen Race

Temecula’s Mayor Pro-Tem Jeff Comerchero made a announcement this evening on social media.

“I’m thrilled to announce that breast cancer survivor Olivia Newton-John will be a participant in the 16th Annual Susan G. Komen Inland Empire Race for the Cure, October 19th, at the Promenade Mall Temecula,” said Comerchero. “She is being hosted by Southwest Healthcare System, will participate in the Survivor Ceremony, and will run with the Rancho Springs Medical Center Team.”

“I am committed and excited about educating and encouraging women to take a positive role in their breast health,” Olivia Newton-John writes on her official biography page.

ONJ is the perfect symbol of a breast cancer survivor. I like all her songs. Will they play them when she visits the promenade mall? I’m waiting to see her soon.

I Honestly Love You is my favourite song! I agree, ONJ is such a good example of a “thriver” – you go girl!
