One arrest made in probation compliance checks on May 21

The Fallbrook Sheriff's substation has reported that one arrest was made in a probation compliance operation conducted Thursday, May 21, from 6 p.m. to midnight.

According to Sgt. Patrick Yates, Miguel Munoz, 26, was arrested for a probation violation and battery.

Yates said the Fallbrook Crime Suppression Team and detectives from the Sheriff's Fallbrook Substation conducted compliance checks on nine Fallbrook residents.

"All of the compliance checks were done on known offenders and AB-109 (Assembly Bill 109) early release probationers," said Yates. "Those targeted were identified through crime and intelligence analysis as individuals most likely to re-offend."

During the detail, Yates said 10 field interviews were also written on individuals suspected of criminal potential.
