Rainfall measure for DeLuz

28.13 inches have been recorded since 10/01/04.

DeLuz normally receives 30-50 percent more rain than Fallbrook. This is due to orographic uplifting of the storms that sweep directly off the coast over Camp Pendleton. The up-sloping terrain (1000-1800 feet) often causes the cloud ceiling level to be low and increases rainfall amount.

In January 1993, 12.6 inches fell over a four-day period similar to the projected intensity of this current storm.
