REINS launches gift-matching fundraiser

FALLBROOK – REINS is excited to announce its first-ever matching campaign. In October of last year, REINS was introduced to a successful businessman who quickly understood its need to build up its staff so that it can continue to grow its therapy programs in both quantity and quality.

The man, who asked to remain anonymous, said, “I was inspired by REINS and interested in their activities for a variety of reasons. First, they are very good stewards of the money they receive and have managed to provide over 7,000 therapeutic riding lessons annually on a very small budget. Second, I believe strongly in treating the whole person and REINS understands the emotional and physical needs on the path to improvement. I hope that others will be as inspired and join me in investing in REINS.”

In the name of his beloved French bulldog, BonBon, the benefactor has committed to match all BonBon matching gifts that REINS receives before June 1, up to $65,000. <All BonBon matching donations must be postmarked by June 1 to be matched. Previous donations, pledges, event sponsorships, auction purchases, in-kind gifts do not qualify for the BonBon matching program.>

This is an exciting way to double contributions and help make an enormous impact in the lives of the students. All donations are 100 percent tax deductable.

Every BonBon matching donation will go directly to hiring two new REINS team members who will streamline and intensify the volunteer programs and therapy lesson programs. By expanding the staff, REINS will be able to better serve its students, their families and all of its volunteers.

Development coordinator Jennifer Gambrell said, “We are confident these changes will catapult us towards our goal of becoming a leading Therapeutic Riding Program in the United States.”
