    Wait a minute!

Aren’t Republicans and higher education an oxymoron? I thought that Republicans want to keep folks down in society to use them for cheap labor.

Wrong again Lee. That would be the democrats you are thinking of, if they keep people down and uneducated they continue to vote the democratic ticket, if they educate people they tend to vote republican.

Hmmm, I think your right Lee! Marco Rubio released the following statement "We don’t need more Liberal Studies majors, we need more plumbers". That really sums it up!! If you get an education, you learn the way(s) of your world, not theirs (those who wrongfully influence you)!! Thus stating that, it’s okay, not to pursue higher levels of education. It is everyone’s right not to, but just like not taking the wrench from a plumber, you will not take the mind of an achiever.

@ Check it out – How would you put Mr. Rubio’s statement into context?

Well "Pro Bono" seeing as how most plumbers make more money than some PhD’s, I don’t think training young people to have an actual skill is such a bad idea, also I believe that, as usual, Mr. Rubio’s comments were taken out of context. He, after all, is the son of hard working immigrants, the backbone of our great country. Marco Rubio is a perfect example of the "American dream" come true. I also think that making light of an organization for giving out much needed scholarships to deserving students is shameful and low. If the Democrats were giving out scholarships, I, as a Republican, would applaud them.
