Rollover on S. Mission impacts traffic

A rollover of a white Dodge Durango on S. Mission near the top of Heller's Bend with people trapped inside was reported at about 10:38 am this morning. Traffic was heavily impacted in both directions. According to people on scene, several passers-by stopped to assist the driver who appeared to be trapped at first. Driver was reported to be out of the vehicle by 10:45 am.

According to North County Public Information Officer John Buchanan, it was a single vehicle rollover and a man in his 30s was transported by ambulance to Palomar Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Alcohol was not suspected in the crash. The cause of the accident is unknown.
