Stabbing incident leaves three men with injuries; all have ties to criminal street gang

An incident that occurred around midnight, Wednesday, March 6 in Fallbrook resulted in three local men sustaining a multitude of stab wounds.

According to Sheriff's Lt. Todd Richardson, the altercation took place in the 1100 block of South Vine Street and involved men ages 19, 20, and 23 - all with known ties to Fallbrook's criminal street gang.

"Two of the three men sustained critical, life-threatening injuries, but are in stable condition now at an area hospital," said Richardson, adding the other sustained wounds that were not as critical.

Richardson confirmed that two of the individuals "are documented members of the street gang," but all have ties to it.
