The Edge Life Skills Center for youth opens May 20

FALLBROOK – There is a new resource available in Fallbrook! Children from ages 8 to 18 can enroll in an extracurricular course at The Edge Life Skills Center. The Edge is a fun and flexible, proactive educational program, which focuses on learning about healthy attitudes, people skills, goal setting, and success in all areas of a young person’s life.

The Grand Opening will take place Monday, May 20, at 3:30 p.m., at 325 N. Brandon Rd.

Parents are encouraged to attend the event which will address important information about how The Edge can help children continue on a path towards success with confidence, integrity and a great attitude. Students will learn specific lifestyle skills, taught in a fun environment. The program emphasizes skills such as preparing oneself for life’s challenges, recognition of responsibilities, and avoiding substance abuse and peer pressure. All of these positive principles are communicated through workshops and role-playing in an enjoyable atmosphere which makes these concepts quicker to understand.
