Traffic advisory: Motorcycle accident causes closure of State Route 76 east of Interstate 15

PALA - The California Highway Patrol reports that a portion of State Route 76 east of Interstate 15 has been temporarily closed due to a fire that has resulted from a motorcycle accident.

The single vehicle accident occurred at approximately 2:13 p.m. today on State Route 76 just east of Third Street (Pala Temecula Road), directly after which the motorcycle caught on fire.

Emergency responders were called to the scene to deal with both the fire and medical response for the man riding the motorcycle.

The CHP said the male involved in the accident is being transported to a medical facility.
