Traffic collision at Fallbrook St. and Potter St. cause gridlock

A two-vehicle accident between a small pick-up and an SUV had cars backed up and being detoured for early morning traffic in Fallbrook. The accident was reported at 7:27 am where Fallbrook Street and Potter intersect. Senior Volunteers were on hand to provide traffic traffic control and one of the vehicles was towed away at about 8:30 am. Injuries are unknown at this time, but it was reported by the CHP that one person involved was out walking around the vehicle.

As of 8:40 am, traffic is starting to clear up.

    Just a shout out to our Senior volunteer patrol – those guys and gals seem to be much better a traffic control than the "professional" cops!
