Two seats open in Nov. election on Fallbrook Public Utility District (FPUD) Board of Directors

FALLBROOK - Local residents interested in serving on the Fallbrook Public Utility District board and wishing to take part in the Nov. 4 election can now file for candidacy with the San Diego County Registrar of Voters office. Two seats will be open in the 2014 election and the terms are for four years.

The deadline for nominating documents to be filed is Aug. 8 at 5 p.m. Completed packets must be returned to the Registrar of Voters office, 5600 Overland Ave. in San Diego.

Anyone interested can pick up candidate information and filing packets from either the FPUD board secretary at 990 E. Mission Road in Fallbrook, or from the Registrar of Voters. Candidates must live within the FPUD service area.
