United Methodist Women's Day

FALLBROOK — Recently, the United Methodist Women of Fallbrook United Methodist Church presented an outstanding skit about the founding of the organization in 1869. The characters were dressed in apparel of the day. The ladies told of the plight of women and girls in India. These Boston ladies discussed the need for education and assistance to the people in India. Out of this meeting the ladies organized and sold their jewelry and other wares to raise funds for their program. Out of this effort the United Methodist Women’s organization was founded and continues missions around the world.

The United Methodist Women also presented awards recognizing the outstanding service of Lynn & Ron Hogan and Marlin Clark.
