Two stabbed in Fallbrook; gang detective says incidents appear to be related
Authorities with the San Diego County Sheriff’s Dept. have reported that two adult males were stabbed in Fallbrook shortly after midnight today (Wed., April 9).
According to Detective Zach Harris, the Sheriff’s Dept. was notified when one victim was brought into the Fallbrook Hospital emergency room, and law enforcement radio activity indicated a link to another stabbing victim found in the
500 block of Womack Lane (off Old Stage Road).
“Both victims are receiving medical treatment for their injuries,” said Harris.
It appears both victims may have been sent on to an area trauma center.
“No suspects are in custody at this time,” said Harris, adding that the victims’ names are being withheld at this time due to the ongoing investigation.
Since the stabbings appear to be gang-related, the investigation is being handled by the Fallbrook Gang Investigations/Crime Suppression Team.
