Cruisin' Grand doubles in size

ESCONDIDO — Beginning Friday, April 1, and continuing through September 30, from 5-9 p.m. Cruisin’ Grand is back and doubled in size! The new official Cruisin’ Grand route will extend and loop around Grand Avenue and Second Avenue!

Join over 400 American-made hotrods, custom, vintage, classic cars and trucks as they begin the six-month Friday night cruise down Grand Avenue and Second Avenue in Historic Downtown Escondido. This year’s proud Title Sponsor is Harrah’s Casino.

Starting April 1 all pre-1974 American-made hotrods, vintage, classic, custom cars and trucks are invited to park and cruise along 14 blocks of Grand Avenue and Second Avenue from 5-9 p.m. Attendees and cruisers will be-bop to ’50s and ’60s music played by not one but two DJs as they take in the spectacular show of works-in-progress to priceless, museum-quality classic cars and trucks. At 8 p.m. event-era cars selected for awards are directed to North Broadway for an awards presentation of six of the most sought-after awards in all of California.
