Alice I. Ebker, 85

Alice I. Ebker, 85, passed away on Jan. 17, 2005. She was born in Oklahoma in 1919. A former resident of Escondido, CA, she lived in Fallbrook, CA, for six years.

Ms. Ebker retired after working as a bus driver for 25 years with Bay Area Transit District, San Francisco, CA, and North County Transit District.

Ms. Ebker was preceded in death by her father Everett Holt; mother Phoebe Emma Holt; sisters Alpha Ashmore, Loretta Ford, and Fairrie Valintine Ward; and brother Ernest Holt. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Gwen & Frank Fox, Fallbrook, CA; brothers Vernon Holt, CA, David Holt, WA, and Calvin Holt, MA; sisters Alean Eidson, Escondido, CA, and Connie and Mildred Hill, OK; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A viewing was held Friday, Jan. 21, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at Berry-Bell & Hall Fallbrook Mortuary. The funeral was held at 1 p.m. at the same location, followed by burial at Fallbrook Masonic Cemetery.
