Beverly Ann Butcher

Beverly Ann Butcher, passed away on May 5, 2005, and left a huge void in the lives of her family and friends. Her family was by her side to the end. Beverly died of complications from Systemic Lupus Erythematosis.

Born August 11, 1926, in Columbus, OH, Beverly was the daughter of the late Carl and Veronica Roberson, graduated high school in 1944 and attended Ohio State University. She was an extremely athletic woman, playing softball in her youth, water skiing expertly and she was an accomplished equestrian. Bev regularly participated in weekly aerobic classes until very recently.

Beverly’s passion was her family; she put family before all else. Her constant love, encouragement, strength and joy of life will be missed and can never be replaced. Our loss is greatly, and forever, felt. Beverly will be missed by her adoring husband of 57 years, Warren Butcher of Fallbrook; her daughter Victoria Bobbette of Vista; her son Warren Jr. and his wife Marcia of Poway; her son James and his wife Andria of Bonsall; and her youngest daughter, Michelle Marie, and her husband Steve Finley of Aptos, CA. She also leaves behind her loving grandchildren Laurel and Lindsay Butcher, Jordan and Melissa Butcher, and Kaitlyn and Clinton Finley; and Warren’s sister and brother-in-law, Lois and John Watson of Hillsborough, CA. Beverly will also be missed by her wonderful “Gal Pals” (you know who you are, ladies!) and her sweet and devoted dog Bogart. We love you forever, Bev.

Memorial services were held Wednesday, May 11, at the Berry, Bell and Hall Mortuary in Fallbrook, CA. Donations may be made to the Lupus Foundation of America or the American Cancer Society.
