Charles Ross Dean Jr.

Charles Ross Dean Jr., 68, went to be with the Lord on May 29 in Tucson, Ariz., surrounded by family. Charlie was born in St. Louis, Mo. to the late Charles Ross Dean Sr. and Erin Douglas Dean on Nov. 14, 1944. He was a proud graduate of Anaheim High School and San Diego State University. Charlie had a successful career as a restaurateur in his earlier days, but found his true passion in missionary work later in life.

Charlie is survived by his daughters Jenny Dean and Ragan Erickson; son-in-law Shaun Erickson; granddaughters Ella and Brooke Erickson; sister Nancy Adalian; brother Bob Dean and was preceded in death by his sister Doris VanAuken.

A celebration of life will be held at SonRise Christian Fellowship at 463 S. Stage Coach Lane, Fallbrook Calif. 92028 on Saturday, June 22 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to SonRise Christian Fellowship c/o Missions.
