George Walter Parrish

George Walter Parrish, of Fallbrook, passed away peacefully in the arms of his family on Monday night, December 9, 2013 at the age of 63. He was born on May 19, 1950.

George will be missed by his wife, Jeanette ‘Nettie’ (Warden) Parrish; his children, Samuel John Parrish (Megan Parrish) of Portland, Ore., and Poppy Louise (Parrish) Elshaug (Joseph Scott Elshaug) and his grandchildren Brennen, Alyssa, Nora and Lily Elshaug of Hartford, Wis.

George lived life fully every day. He played – he loved all the time. George’s body was not often healthy, but his heart was always full of love for his family, friends and Fallbrook.

A celebration of life for George will be held at Emmanuel Baptist Church at 911 East Elder Street, Fallbrook, (760) 728-2667 at 11a.m. on Saturday, December 14. Lunch will follow.

    Dear George will be missed by many, his sense of humor was Large.
    Dearest Nettie we are so sorry for your loss. Your Love for George was always Large. You were George\’s Hero in So many ways. You are admired by many for your constant and diligent care for George through his many unfortunate medical problems.
    Poppy, Sam and family we are deeply sorry for the loss of your Father, Grandfather, and Brother. Great memories will carry us through this sad time.

    George always had a smile on his face, he was always so kind and thoughtful his sense of humor was awesome he always brought smiles to our faces and we laughed together. we were grateful to be his friends we will truly miss him. much love Rest in peace George.

    He lived a across the street when I was a kid and baby sat my brother and me. Lots of great memories. My mom, brother, family and I are together on the day after my father’s passing, and George’s name came up. Found this. Rest in Peace
