Jacqueline Cammarata

Jacqueline Cammarata, (Jackie), was born on Christmas Day in 1923 in Brooklyn, N.Y. to Italian immigrant parents. She had two older brothers, and her parents ran a grocery store.

At age 23, she moved to California and married Anthony Cammarata. They had two children; she was a homemaker. Jackie and her family moved to Fallbrook in 1970. Her husband passed away in 1972.

Jackie worked at Fallbrook Headstart as a cook, and also worked in church nurseries.

She is survived by her daughters, Petrina Cammarata and Nina (David) Wellenstein, and many loving family and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, July 26 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Berry-Bell and Hall Mortuary; service at 10 a.m., officiated by Pastor Jim Christensen. Burial will be at the Fallbrook Masonic Cemetery with a reception to follow.
