John M. Thibault, 59

John M. Thibault, 59, passed away on November 30, 2004. He was born on October 31, 1945, in Lubbock, TX. He was a resident of Fallbrook, CA, for four years.

Mr. Thibault was employed as a security officer for Pacific Eagle International in San Diego, CA. He retired from the US Navy as a master chief petty officer after 28 years’ service, serving primarily with the Navy’s attack submarine force as a torpedoman, earned the Eagle Scout Award as a Boy Scout, was a member of the San Diego Railroad Museum and enjoyed model railroading, was a member of the Non-commissioned Officer Assn., was an avid Padres fan, was a golfer and reader of military history.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Kathie Thibault, sons John Thibault, Jr., Fallbrook, CA, and Daryl Thibault, Redwood City, CA.

A graveside service will be held on April 18, 2005, at 10 a.m. at Ft. Rosecrans National Cemetery in San Diego, CA, with Chaplain Robert Marks officiating. Inurnment will follow. The family suggests memorial donations to San Diego Hospice, 4311 3rd Ave., San Diego, CA 92103.
