Jose Ventura, 67

Jose Ventura, 67, died January 8, 2005, in Fallbrook Hospital.

Born July 28, 1937, in Cojomatlan, Michoachan, Mexico, Mr. Ventura lived in Fallbrook, CA, for 42 years. He was a field laborer for Earl Serry and Al Walker Groves in Fallbrook for 30 years and was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Community.

Mr. Ventura was preceded in death by his parents, Francisco & Maria Suarez Ventura.

He is survived by sons Sergio Ventura, San Marcos, CA, and Daniel Ventura, San Diego, CA; brothers Ismael Ventura & Genaro Ventura, Fallbrook, CA; and sisters Alicia Ventura, Rosario Avalos, Esperanza Suarez, Margarita Ventura, Guadalupe Suarez and Rosa Cortez, all of Fallbrook.

A visitation and rosary will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2005, at 6:00 p.m. at Berry-Bell & Hall Fallbrook Mortuary. Deacon Manuel Villarreal will be officiating.

A mass will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Fallbrook. Rev. Edward “Bud” Kaicher & Deacon Manuel Villarreal will be officiating. Following the mass, burial will take place at Fallbrook Masonic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the American Heart Association, 3640 5th Ave., San Diego, CA 92103.

Berry-Bell & Hall Fallbrook Mortuary handled the arrangements.
