Karen L. Curtis

Karen L. Curtis passed away on May 24, 2013 after a lengthy illness. She was born in Whittemore, Iowa, to Bill and Bernice Heller. She attended the University of Iowa and later moved to California.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Bob, and their daughter Carol. She also leaves behind several aunts and many cousins. Karen was a wonderful mother and a fine person who will be missed by all who knew her.

Services will be held on Saturday, July 13 at 11 a.m. at the West Bend Cemetery in West Bend, Iowa. A celebration of her life will take place at a later date in Southern California.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to Angel’s Touch Care Center and Elizabeth Hospice. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations be made to REINS Therapeutic Riding Program, P.O. Box 1283, Bonsall, CA 92003.
