Marshall Murdock

Marshall Murdock, a beloved husband, father and friend, passed away at home on January 4 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was always ready with a corny joke or funny story and he will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife Jean, their five children and spouses, 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandsons.

A Memorial service was held at Grace Episcopal Church, 1020 Rose Ranch Road in San Marcos at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, January 12, with a reception following at the Murdock’s home, in Escondido. Interment will be at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church columbarium in San Pedro, California, on Sunday, January 30 at 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent in Marshall’s memory to the Elizabeth Hospice in Escondido or Grace Episcopal Church in San Marcos.
