Mary 'Betty' Loeffler, 89

Mary ‘Betty’ Loeffler, 89, passed away on Jan. 14, 2005. She was born in Wash, PA, in 1915. She lived in Fallbrook, CA, for the last nine months. Mrs. Loeffler had resided in Hawthorne, CA, for 40 years.

Mrs. Loeffler contributed to the WWII effort by working as a ship welder. She also worked in electronics before retiring to be a grandmother. She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, second mother and good neighbor with many friends.

Mrs. Loeffler was preceded in death by her husband Martin Loeffler in 1993. She is survived by one daughter, three sons, 12 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Private services will be held as requested by Mrs. Loeffler.
