Mr. David P. Piering, 86

Mr. David P. Piering, 86, passed away on April 25, 2005. He was born on August 22, 1918, in Dulth, MN. Mr. Piering was a resident of Fallbrook, CA, for 30 years.

Mr. Piering retired after serving as president and founder of Diversified Wire and Steel Corp. in Los Angeles, CA, for 25 years. He also served in the US Army during WWII in the European theater and received the Bronze Star Medal. He enjoyed golfing.

Mr. Piering was preceded in death by wife Adele Piering in 1990 and son Scott Piering in 2000. He is survived by daughter-in-law Hilary Piering, London, England, and two nephews.

At the request of Mr. Piering, no services will be held. Memorial donations are requested to go to Boys & Girls Club of North County, 445 E. Ivy St., Fallbrook, CA 92028. Berry-Bell & Hall Fallbrook Mortuary handled the arrangements.
