Mr. Howard C. Jewett, 83

Mr. Howard C. Jewett, 83, passed away on April 20, 2005, at the Parkview Hospital, Riverside, CA. He was born on January 31, 1922, in Macon, GA. Mr. Jewett was a resident of Fallbrook, CA, for 18 years.

Mr. Jewett retired after 25 years as an electronics engineer for Norfolk Southern Railroad. He served in the US Army Air Corps during WWII, flew bombing missions as a navigator in Europe and enjoyed traveling, building and inventing things.

Mr. Jewett is survived by his wife of 43 years Iran Jewett, Fallbrook, CA; and two brothers, Ronald & Jon Jewett.

At the request of the deceased, no service will be held. Inurnment will be held at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA (no date has been set). The family suggests memorial donations to Helen Woodard Animal Center, PO Box 64, Rancho Santa Fe, CA 92067. Berry-Bell & Hall Fallbrook Mortuary handled the arrangements
