Mrs. Celia M. Munson, 90

Mrs. Celia M. Munson, 90, passed away on April 17, 2005. She was born on February 4, 1915, in Douglas, AZ. Mrs. Munson was a resident of Fallbrook, CA, for seven years.

Mrs. Munson was a homemaker for more than 70 years. She was a member of both the California State Square Dancer’s Association and the South Coast Square Dancer’s Association and a former member of St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church in Los Angeles and their ladies guild. She enjoyed square dancing, sewing, knitting, crocheting, gardening and cooking.

Mrs. Munson is survived by her husband of 31 years Bill Munson, Fallbrook, CA; son & daughter-in-law Mike & Melanie Shaughnessy, Carlsbad, CA; daughters & sons-in-law Pamela & Bill Yankie, Fallbrook, CA, and Sandi & Bryon Gunderson, Strawberry, AZ; sisters Ida Negrete, Pacoima, CA, and Carol Desantos, Arleta, CA; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held on Friday, April 22, 2005, at 1:30 p.m. at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA. Officiating will be Deacon Jim Dale. The family suggests memorial donations to VITAS Hospice, 9655 Granite Ridge Dr., Ste. #300, San Diego, CA 92123. Berry-Bell & Hall Fallbrook Mortuary handled the arrangements.
